Anime's Promise

Anime’s Promise

Is that really childish?

Wearing bright colors?

Tyrian hats with Wisteria brims,

Harlequin and Laurel Green scarves with Apricot swirls,

Orchid and Periwinkle button-down shirts with Sunglow sleeves,

Licorice Black and Thundercloud pants,

Perhaps a Midnight Blue coat to stave off chill,

Socks of Parchment Silver interlaced with Pipe-fire Red thread.

Does this fashion make them less strong?

Look beyond the clothes.

Within their world,

we see fantastic futures.

A phalanx of hand-drawn or CGI portrayed superheroes,

bearing shining swords or scythes

with exotic names.

Heroes,

bringing evil to its knees.
