Lost Boy

Lost Boy

A reflection in the puddle of his mind

gave him a reason to make a change.

An aimless wanderer lost in the rain.

Looking for his place in the cruel world.

Sometimes life can make a heart grow

cold and forget the love it once held.

The love a child holds. The type of passion

that only a young soul can burn with.

He learned tricks along his path to beat

and suppress the child he once was. Until

that fateful day, when he remembered that

reflection and pulled the lost boy from underneath

the dark cloud that had overshadowed his life for

so long. Turning himself into a lover of the light

again.
